Arrowwood 2016

We headed up to Arrowwood for our annual Bishop Family Weekend on Friday!

It was an extra special weekend because we were celebrating my parents 40th wedding anniversary and they had just gotten back from Alaska, so it was fun to hear all about their trip and see pictures!

It was a hot and sunny day so we started out in the outside pool. The kids have such great memories from the inside pool that they were begging to go and swim inside--so we finally went in and they had a blast!

Sister's! ;)

Warming up in the hot tub!

Walking back to the cabin!
There was some frog catching. It hasn't been as successful as the first couple of times we were there, but the kids managed to find a few! :)
Saturday morning we woke up to cloudy skies so we headed over to the waterpark! It was a blast--Bishop REALLY got into the big waterslides this year and even ended up going down all by himself! Madelyn asked me to take her down, so we went down together a few times, which was so fun!
Nora and Auntie!

The Bormann's brought presents for the kids--Shopkins for Nora as a good luck for surgery (on Monday) and legos for Bishop. They were both in heaven playing with their new toys, thanks so much Bormann's!

Bishop learned how to play chess this summer and he was so excited to play all weekend long! He's growing up so much--and I love it!

One last splash before heading home!

As always it was a super fun weekend! The kids are even more independent and comfortable in the water, so it made for a little more of a relaxing weekend for the parents! It's so fun to see them interact with their cousins! They are all so close and I love the relationship they have with each other! There was a lot of swimming, playing, zip lining and frog hunting--everyone was happy! I love this tradition and am so thankful for our family!
