Bishop's new favorite--the trampoline!!
We had a fun June and saw lots of friends and did lots of fun things! Bishop's still adjusting to the Y and while we were hoping it would be a fun summer for him it has been kind of a struggle and he doesn't seem to be enjoying it very much. We're hoping it gets better as he gets more used to it.

We're heading to Colorado again over the 4th of July! We're all excited for a vacation!

Summertime fun!

Bishop has been spending a lot of time with our neighbor, Andrew. Andrew is one year older than Bishop and the two of them have so much fun playing together! They have had pool parties in the backyard pools, water gun fights, played school, and played at the park! It's so nice that he's right next door. Bishop gets so excited when Andrew is home and can play. At the beginning we kind of struggled with the dynamic with the 2 boys and Nora. The boys would want to do their own thing and Nora would feel left out, etc. She hasn't been as interested in playing with them lately, which means I have gotten more one on one time with her, which has been great!

Water gun fight with Andrew!

Watch out!
Last week my mom came up and stayed with us on Tuesday night as she had plans in the cities on Wednesday. She was grateful enough to watch the kids so Luke and I could get out for dinner on our own. It had been awhile since we had been out just the 2 of us, so it was much appreciated! I was a little nervous how they would act for her, but they were great! Luke and I enjoyed dinner at Al Vento (it was SOO good and we hadn't been there in a long time)! We were home before the kids fell asleep, which meant bedtime was later (and hard since they were wound after we got home). It was worth it though! Thanks again, Nana! We all love you so much!

Since my mom was in the cities she was able to watch the kids skate on Wednesday afternoon. Nora was especially excited to have her there.....and she was smiling on the ice! :) She fell towards the end, which was tough for her--so we didn't get a smile with Nana...but she only wanted Nana to hold her! :)

It's hard to see, but she's smiling for her fan club!

Thanks for coming, Nana!
On Thursday Luke took Bishop to get his haircut after school. Luke was asking if he could tell them to get the #2 out--I was a little hesitant to go that short, but I'm glad he went as short as he did! It looks great and must feel better in the summer heat!
My cool dude!

Arrowwood 2015

We enjoyed our annual Bishop family vacation last weekend at Arrowwood! It was a great weekend and the kids had a blast....swimming was the highlight this year!

Luke worked on Friday so I drove the kids up and met the rest of my family on Friday morning. We stopped at an awesome rest stop on our way and the kids played on the playground for a few minutes before we made the rest of the drive!

We swam in the indoor pool on Friday when we got there....for 3 hours straight! The kids had an absolute blast! Nora and Jack enjoyed throwing rings in for Bishop to dive for and Madelyn was a little fish--swimming all over the place! It was so fun to see all the kids more comfortable in the water and it definitely wasn't as stressful or nerve wracking as in years past!

After swimming we went back to the cabin and searched for frogs. We only saw a couple all weekend....and we caught the same one more than once! I think we were a little early for the frogs. But, we saw and caught a couple turtles instead, which was fun!

The Bormann's!

Friday night we grilled out and hung out at the cabin. We celebrated my Mom's birthday (which was Sat) and Father's Day (Sun) with cupcakes on Friday night and the kids got a big kick out of blowing out the candles! Nana is so sweet to share! ;)

Ready, steady....go!

Everyone slept relatively well (except for maybe Luke). Nora slept with Nana and they both enjoyed that! On Saturday morning Bishop, Madelyn and Jack hung out in Papa's room with Papa and myself and we watched some cartoons! Then it was off to the water park for the morning! The kids really enjoyed the water park more this year too! I got to go down the slide many times with Nora...I loved it! I even got to join the big kids on a train down the slide!

Happy Birthday Nana!

This huge turtle was right outside our door!
We spent time going on the the little zipline and playing on the playground as well. We attempted to swim in the outdoor pool on Saturday, but it was a bit chilly and we were all more comfortable inside, so that was fun!

We even made a bonfire to roast marshmellows

The dad's

Happy Father's Day, Dad!
On Sunday we woke up and headed to the water park for one last time before it was time to go home. We made sure to give dad and Papa lots of hugs and kisses as it was Father's Day! We all had a blast at the waterpark.....we went back, packed up and headed for home!
Happy Father's Day, Dad!

Nora absolutely ADORES her big cousin, Madelyn!

Nana's such a trooper--looking for frogs with Bishop!

The boys looking for frogs!

Auntie brought beads to make necklaces and the kids had a blast doing that!

Sisters and Best Friends! I love this girl SO SO much!

Papa came prepared with his own water gun this year!

Thanks mom and dad for such a fun weekend! We look forward to this trip all year and every year it keeps getting better!
