New Years Eve 2011 was a quiet one, but very fun!
We ended up staying home that night and Luke made us a delicious dinner of shrimp linguine. We've had it before, but it was SO good! It was Bishop's first time having shrimp and he LOVED it--he couldn't get enough of it.
Bishop and I celebrated with some Cold Duck (sparkling grape juice), while Luke got to enjoy the real stuff, and after dinner we hung out and had a great evening together. Bishop was dancing in the kitchen, as I think he knew it was a special night.
Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures--but we were celebrating nonetheless! :)
After Bishop went to bed Luke and I played Monopoly, which was a blast! I can't remember the last time I played Monopoly! And, the best part was...I WON!!! I don't think I ever finished a game as a kid, because we never bought anything....but playing with Luke was a completely different game....he bought everything he could, so I had to, to keep up! Thankfully I got Park Place and Boardwalk and I was able to buy hotels--that's what ended the game! So fun (can you tell, I'm a little excited)!? :)
I didn't make it up to the New Year, but was up later than average and had a great night!
2011 was a wonderful year for our family! We have so much to be thankful for and it has been such a delight to watch Bishop grow and learn and enjoy everything he does. He truly LOVES life to the fullest and it is so fun to be a part of!! We are thankful for our families and our many friends--we couldn't do it without you and it wouldn't be as much fun either!
We are looking forward to 2012 and the arrival of the newest member of the Froehle Family--it is sure to be another wonderful year!!

Bishop Family Christmas 2011
We celebrated "Bishop family Christmas" on Friday, December 30th at Jon and Jennie's. Everyone was able to make it except the Bob Bishop family. We missed seeing them this year, especially Jeff and Danielle, as they weren't able to make it for Thanksgiving either.
Jon and Jennie are the best hosts! They always have delicious food and unending wine (which I obviously missed this year)!! They got two new dogs this year, Lucy and Vivian and both Bishop and Madelyn loved playing with them!! Bishop kept trying to give one of them a bone, but she wasn't having it. He followed them around all day and when they would bark he would yell "NO, and put his finger to his lips to say shhhhhhhh". He even crawled in their dog kennels....and wouldn't you know, Papa went too because Bishop asked him to! :) Ha!
We had our annual gift exchange game.....where everyone brings a small gift and we all draw numbers and people can steal gifts, etc. It was fun!
Bishop and Madelyn were spoiled by Great Gpa Ray and Darlene. Bishop got a couple remote control cars and a John Deere truck and trailer to go with the other truck they got him.

33 Weeks!!
I am 33 weeks pregnant today! Woo Hoo! I have made it this far without bedrest and it doesn't look like that will be in the future (unless things progress VERY quickly)!
I had an appointment this morning and everything looks great! My blood pressure is great, which is such a relief! It had started creeping up already at this point last pregnancy, which led me to the HELLP syndrome and caused me to be induced early. I am measuring small--about 3 weeks behind, so my Dr had me get an ultrasound. It was so fun to see our baby---especially because everything is JUST FINE! According to the ultrasound I am measuring at exactly 33 weeks 0 days (which is perfect)!!
The baby's heart rate was 160 when my Dr took it by doppler and was 148 on the ultrasound. The techs kept saying what a pretty heart rate it is....and what a cute baby we have! :)
The baby's approximate weight is 4lb 12oz, which is just above average for this point. The tech said if I go full term the baby could be between 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 pounds...sounds perfect to me!
We are so thankful that everything is looking good and the baby appears to be healthy! I pray every night for a healthy and happy baby....and I can't wait to meet Sisbro!!

Christmas 2011
We started Christmas 2011 off at the Froehle's in Cold Spring! We drove up Friday afternoon and spend the day hanging out and playing at Grandpa and Grandma's. Unfortunately, Jake had to work, but he was able to get home around 7--just in time to open gifts, before Bishop went to bed.
Bishop had a blast! He really enjoyed opening presents....handing them out and helping everyone else open their gifts. He got a broom (which he loves to use and he was even sweeping up crumbs last night and dumping them in the garbage--THANKS grandpa and grandma!! :), some clothes, finger puppets, a coloring book and his favorite....a cash register! He LOVES his cash register and it's so fun to watch him play with it. By the time we got all the gifts unwrapped and played with--it was time for bed (for both of us)! :)
Saturday morning (Christmas Eve), we got up and packed up to head to Owatonna. We arrived in Owatonna around noon, had some lunch and got ready for church. The church fills up so quickly on Christmas Eve, Shelly and I arrived at Trinity around 1:40 to get a pew for the 3pm service. The church was full by 2:00! It was fun catching up and having some sister time, as we waited.
Bishop and Madelyn did well at church. I was very impressed with how Bishop did--he didn't need to be taken out ONCE! Of course, Papa and Nana helped out with that!! We visited the baby Jesus and the Holy Family and my dad took him up for the Children's sermon. The kids got to sing happy birthday to Jesus and they all got blow horns to "celebrate" with. Amazingly, we didn't hear one blowhorn throughout the rest of the service. I just LOVE the Christmas Eve service at our church!
We went home and had dinner. My grandparents were able to join us, which was nice. However, I think it may have been a little overwhelming for them, as it was overwhelming for me with the two excited kids!
Then came the presents--Bishop is a very lucky guy and he got some very nice gifts! He was so excited with everything that was going on, I don't think he really "got it" as much as the night before. Regardless, it was a very fun night!
Christmas day was spent at my parents...playing, relaxing and enjoying our time together. We had lunch and then we took off, so we could ensure that Bishop got a nap in! Shelly, Ryan and Madelyn took off at the same time too.
Christmas Night we went to Danielson's (Luke's, mom's cousins) in Plymouth. I always love going to their house....and this year was extra special, as their daughter, Sarah was home with her family from Switzerland. Bishop and Sarah's youngest, Carlo (4 yrs old), had an absolute BLAST running around, chasing each other and playing together. It was so fun to see!

We woke up on the 26th and Santa had come and brought Bishop a new bike!! He loves bikes, but hasn't shown a huge interest in his bike, but I'm sure that will take some getting used to. He got a bike without peddles, and he did get on it a couple times and he seemed to really enjoy it (in our basement)!
It was a wonderful Christmas and I can't believe it's over....we are so blessed to have such wonderful families. THANK YOU so so much for all your gifts--you are so good to us and we appreciate it so much!

Madelyn LOVES to walk behind things. She is amazing! She does so well pushing something! There was some competition for the Mickey airplane, as Bishop has one at home and he really wanted to play with Madelyn's.

Santa Claus in Coming to Washburn
Santa Claus visited our house last night! Bishop invited his friends, Johnny, Danny, Leo and Leo's sister, Aliyana, over for dinner and to see Santa (along with their parents, of course)! :) It was a great night!
The boys came around 5-5:30 and they had chili for dinner and Santa came around 6. Johnny LOVED Santa and the rest of the boys weren't so sure. Santa did bring presents and the boys would let Santa get close enough to give them presents, but that was about it! Each of the boys got blocks, paint and Pez from Santa. Bishop ate his first pack of Pez right away and kept trying to trade his empty Santa Pez with Johnny's unopened one, so he could have more candy! He cracks me up!!
It is so fun watching the boys play together--they definitely interact much more and there is more playing "together" as opposed to "parallel play".
My parents were also able to join us--due to the fact that my dad had to go to Abbott unexpectedly for an EKG (everything is FINE!). The only problem with Papa being here, was that Bishop wanted to play with Papa more than his friends, at times.
Bishop kept looking for Santa after he left--and even asked where he was this morning!
It was such a fun night and so nice that we can do this on a "school" night since everyone lives so close (3 out of the 4 families live on the same block).
