Breakfast on the Farm

Last weekend Bishop and I went down to my parents for the night. Shelly and Madelyn were there too and it was so fun to be home with the 2 kids!

Bishop has learned to wave hello and goodbye, along with saying "buh-bye"-it's the cutest!
My beautiful niece, Madelyn! I love her SO much!

Saturday morning we all went to Breakfast on the Farm (except for Shelly and Madelyn, they stayed back and it probably wasn't the worst idea since it rained).

We took a yellow school bus to the farm and I think that may have been the highlight for Bishop. He was SO excited--it's hard to even describe how excited he was!

We had yummy pancakes, sausage, cheese, milk and juice on the farm and then pet the animals. Bishop absolutely loved the piglets and he kept chasing them around, trying to pick them up!

He also enjoyed kissing the two calves that were sitting on the lawn! It was such a neat experience!! The MN Dairy Association sponsors it and it's something we'll definitely go back to in the future!

Kelsey is my good friends' Matt and Kristin's daughter-she is ADORABLE!

Michelle and Liam visiting the Petting Zoo
Taking a horsey ride in the rain
Exhausted after so much fun! We carried the stroller onto the bus and he slept until we took him out to get in his carseat!
Reading with Great Grandpa

Ice cream!! He wouldn't eat his out of his cup, only off our cones! :)
Bishop played with Johnny, Danny and Leo on Monday night--it was quite the chaos!
Grandma came to play with Bishop while Luke and I went to the Twins game Tuesday night
Go Twins! We saw a win--6-4!!
Playing in the water on a HOT HOT day!!
Drinking the water.....just like a dog!
My happy happy boy! He's the best!

16 Months Old!

Bishop is now 16 months old!! He is as fun as ever and he's understanding more and more everyday! He uses more and more words everyday. We had his 15 month appt the other day (he was sick at his original 15 month appt, so we had to reschedule it).

Bishop weighs 26 lbs and is 31 3/4 in.
He is right on track developmentally! The Dr mentioned that he should be able to walk up and down stairs in the next few months...we explained he has been doing this now for some time....the Dr was VERY impressed and said that usually doesn't happen until 20-24 months! Go Bishop Go! He is also climbing on everything, which the Dr said is a good thing! I was a bit surprised it was such a good thing, but it's good for his development. When we picked him up from daycare last night he was standing on the picnic table outside.

Bishop also has his first ear infection and it's a double ear infection! You'd never know it though! There were a few nights last week where he was up in the middle of the night, but other than that he hasn't seemed "sick" at all!

Friday night Bishop had some friends over--it was a wild time, but everyone had fun, even the moms and dads!
Amelia, Isla, Odin, Madelyn, Elsie, Livy, Ben and Bishop

Bishop pushed Livy all over the house Friday night--they both loved it! He did a decent job of steering her, but he also rammed her into the wall a few times (and she didn't even flinch)
The Bormann's, such a beautiful family!

Saturday we went to the MN Zoo

June 3-7

Last weekend Rich and Luke and Bishop put new pavers in our backyard, while Bishop and Grandma played and I got some work done inside the house--what a great weekend!

Sunday June 5th was Grand 'Ol Days! Bishop LOVED the parade, especially the dogs, big trucks and mascots!

Driving his own car, while grocery shopping--EVERYTHING is more fun with Bishop!

Hanging out in the backyard

Danny, Bishop and Johnny-what great friends!

Bishop got to go to the Lynx game with Mama, Papa and Nana!
