Nana and Papa's House

Luke went fishing with the guys on their annual fishing trip Tues-Sat (10/18-10/22). Bishop and I went down to Owatonna Friday night and spent the night! We all had a great time! We went to the park a couple of times, visited Great Grandpa and Grandma Loken and had lunch at McDonald's!

Bishop thinks Papa is just the best--and who wouldn't....he does everything Bishop does.....including going down all the slides!

Lunch at McDonald's

Sometimes Papa needs a little push

I took pictures of Bishop with Great Grandpa and Grandma Loken, but I can't seem to find them....I'll post them when I do!

My little Monkey

Bishop's daycare has a fall festival every year and the kids get to dress up! Bishop is a monkey for Halloween this year! Luke was out of town for his annual fishing trip, so nana and papa stopped by to join us! It was so much fun!!!

Bishop loves playing in kitchens!

We had Bishop's 18 month pictures taken a few weeks ago (Oct 6th). We had Matt Addington take the pictures--he's taken all of our pictures, including our wedding pictures! Matt is a good friend of ours....and was the ring bearer in my parents wedding, so it's extra special and so fun to see him every once in a while to catch up!! We went down to his place near Kenyon, MN. He lives in a farm house on a very neat piece of land! Bishop was a little leary and we had a hard time getting smiles out of him....but all in all, he did just fine!

Pumpkin Patch

Last Sunday (10/16/11) we went to Dehn's Pumpkin Patch near Maple Grove. We met Madelyn, Shelly and Ryan there. It was a small family farm, which was nice. We were a little disappointed to miss out on the "apple orchard", as it was just pumpkins, but it was still fun. It was cool and windy and Madelyn wasn't feeling well, so that was too bad. We picked out our pumpkins and played a bit!

 Feeding the cows
They had an awesome corn pit! Bishop loved playing in it and it was so great because it wasn't messy or dusty or anything!!
 The Bormann's!
Poor Baby girl wasn't feeling well--she still looks super cute though!! I love my niece so much-she's the best!!
Bishop just HAD to pull a wagon, just like daddy!
We tried to get a picture of the cousins, but Madelyn wasn't feeling like herself and wasn't interested in posing for a picture. If you look closely, Bishop is holding a couple of gourds. The one in HIS right hand is his absolute favorite (and it is a pretty nice gourd, thanks, Auntie for letting him keep it, as I know it was the best one we found)....he now sleeps with it! :)

4 Pumpkins......one for Daddy, one for Mama, one for Bishop and one for Sisbro!

Lake Pepin Bike ride

A couple weekends ago (10/8/11), Luke participated in a 75 mile bike ride with a few of his good friends around Lake Pepin.  The bike ride was to raise money for breast cancer and dogs.....it is a family run ride and Molly's uncle organized it a few years ago. There were around 17 bikers this year, making it the largest crew they've had!

Molly's neighbors invited us to spend the night at their place--they are so thoughtful and giving and thankfully so because Bishop woke up at 4:30 screaming with a fever. Poor guy was sick!!! Never fun to be sick, especially away from home. Bishop played with Logan and Amelia for awhile in the morning and then we headed home so he could rest and take it easy. Thankfully my parents were watching Madelyn that night, so they stopped by to play with Bishop for awhile so I could nap.

Friday (10/7) was pajama day at daycare, so Bishop wore his skeleton pj's....I love them! They even glow in the dark!
Bishop and Amelia both LOVE dogs...they had a blast together!

Most of the bikers--a few caught up with them at the 1/2 way point
The bikers and the "sag car drivers"!
Luke had a great time and will definitely do it again! Thanks McKay's for such great hospitality!!!
Since Bishop was sick I let him eat most anything (since he didn't have that great of an appetite). Here he is, eating a pumpkin cupcake!

Bishop and Nana always have fun together! They both giggle a lot! I love it!
Bishop and Daddy tightening the baby gate....I hope Bishop enjoys helping this much for years to come! :)
