On Friday we stayed home and Nora pulled herself up for the first time that we've seen! She's done it at school, but this was her first time at home. She mastered it and kept getting up time after time--she loves being mobile!
Luke rode in a 72 mile bike ride on Saturday, so I took the kids down to Nana and Papa's for the day! Luke survived his bike ride in the CHILLY, windy weather....while battling a nasty cough! He did well and all went well, considering the circumstances!
Bishop, Nora, Nana and I went to Cabela's to check out the animals, ate lunch at McDonald's and visited Owatonna Shoe, all while Papa was working!

Riding the horse at Owatonna Shoe! It only costs a penny...Bishop yelled YEE HAW every time he rode the horse!

She seems a little young to be in a walker to me! :)
We all got home around 7 on Saturday night, which allowed us all of Sunday together at home, which was so nice!
We went out for breakfast and then walked down to watch the marathon. Bishop was intrigued and Nora woke up for the action! We knew a few people running the marathon, but we didn't get down there early enough to see them run! It was a COLD start to the marathon (temps in the upper 20s). I had tears in my eyes watching the runners--it's such a neat experience and it brings back so many memories! We met up with our back door neighbors and walked the rest of the way around the lake with them, which was fun!

Bishop and I went for a walk/bike to the park and around the neighborhood. When we got home Casey made a big leaf pile for Bishop to play in!

Loving the leaves!

Fall has definitely arrived! The week started out with temps in the 70s and ended with temps in the 40s. I love this time of year and it's nice to still be able to get outside for some fresh air!
