Grandpa and Grandma's

We had quite the busy weekend, but it was so much fun!

On Friday night we went up to Cold Spring. We ate dinner at Fisher's, which was fun. We haven't gone out to dinner quite as much lately with the kids, as it's become a lot of work with two and it's not as enjoyable. However, it was fun being out with Grandma and Grandpa and having some help! The kids did pretty well too! The food was great--Fisher's is a place that is only open in the "summer season" and Saturday night was their last night open, so we got there right in time!

Saturday morning we hung out at Grandma and Grandpa's house and then went to St John's. We walked around campus for a bit and then went to the Johnny/Gustie football game. I had Bishop chanting "Go Gusties" in the car on the way there, but he was a Johnnies fan at the game! :) He got his face painted and he even got his own mini Johnny football. He thought it was pretty fun watching the game!

We left the game early, as it was way past Bishop's naptime and drove back to the cities. We went to the Hennum's for dinner and the kids had an absolute blast! He just adores Maia and he kept asking about going to see Maia. Both Bishop and Nora were over tired and Bishop was so upset when it was time to leave--he kept crying/screaming...I don't want to leave...I don't want to leave......all the way home and even after we got home! Nora was even screaming on the way home. Luke and I laughed!! There was nothing we could do--they were in the backseat, crying/screaming--we knew they were ok, safe, fed and just WAY too tired. I did feel bad that they got that tired, but like Luke said 'it was probably one of Bishop's favorite days and he had so much fun, so he's ok".

Sunday we had to go back to the Hennum's to get the little Johnny football that got left there. We had Nora's 8 month pictures taken at Matt's house and then Johnny Kahlert's Halloween party! Whew! I hope the kids sleep well tonight-they need it! But it was SUCH a fun weekend!

The finished product--a Johnnies Football on his cheek!

Nora was quite cozy and slept for most of the game!

Thank you Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Jake for such a fun time this weekend! We enjoyed being together and I know Bishop and Nora loved seeing you!
