The Zoo, A Haircut and the Bormann's

Saturday was quite the day for the Froehle's! We started off by going to the zoo--our first outing as a family! Bishop ran around like crazy, while Nora snuggled in the Bjorn and I pushed the empty stroller around. We met a bunch of friends at the zoo, which was great for Bishop. The Heller's, Knutson's, Jones's and Steffen's were all there. We never ran into the Steffen's, but Nora was able to meet a lot of friends, which was fun.
Bishop loves to put on shoes and walk around in them...here he is in Luke's old running shoes!

Our first outing as a family
Liam and Bishop checking out the animals at the Zoo! Liam is so cute--I just love his little hat!
 At the Dolphin Show!
Taya stopped by to meet Nora in the afternoon and then Bishop was off for a haircut.

Lately, Bishop has been singing the ABCDs--on the way to get his haircut, he kept singing it over and over again--I'll try to post the video soon!

Our neighbor, Casey stopped by to meet Nora and bring her and Bishop a gift. Bishop adores him and loves to play basketball with Casey--Casey brought Bishop his own little hoop, ball and sweatband!

The Bormann's came over with dinner that night--and Bishop and Madelyn had an absolute blast together!! Madelyn is so dang cute...she can keep up with Bishop, as long as she's pushing something. Bishop has a hard time understanding that she can't let go and walk by herself, but he's really good to her and no matter what he does...she thinks it's hilarious. She has the best laugh and smile--she is SUCH a happy girl!! I love it!
 Auntie Shelly and Nora
Nora and Bishop playing in the kitchen
Such a sweet girl! I love her soo much!

Bishop and Madelyn would race with their chairs down the hallway!

My mom came up to spend the night Saturday night. Her and my dad had to serve communion at church, so she didn't get to our house until 7pm or so. We told Bishop that Nana was coming, but that Papa couldn't come because he had a cold.....when Nana showed up and Papa wasn't here, Bishop burst out in tears! It was kind of cute, but it made me sad and of course, I cried too! Bishop quickly took to Nana and on Sunday he demanded every bit of her attention and told her he was going to go home with her, he didn't want her to leave!! Thanks for coming, Nana--and thanks for rocking with Nora in the middle of the night!! We can't wait to see you again--and Papa too!

Happy to have Nana come!!!
