38 weeks!

Wowzers I made it to 38 weeks!! What a good feeling this is (well, aside from the pregnancy complaints) :)

When I got home from work last night I was seeing stars for a little bit, so I took my blood pressure...it was really high (got up to 160/100). I would relax and take it again and it never really came down to normal, unless I laid down and took it, which is exactly what happened when I was diagnosed with the HELLP syndrome with Bishop. I wasn't TOO concerned, since I could get it to come down when I laid down and I knew I had an appointment first thing this morning.

At my appointment my blood pressure was fine! I told my Dr about last night and she had my blood taken to check my liver enzymes and platelets. I also had a NST, to check on the baby. All was good with the NST and I'm waiting to hear back about my blood results. She wants to see me Monday and she would like to induce me next Friday (Bishop's birthday)!!! We'll see what happens between now and then, but Bishop might have to share his birthday. I'd like to avoid that situation, if at all possible, but I would also like a healthy baby and healthy mama....and I certainly don't want to risk it with my history. We'll see what happens! I'll keep you posted!
