Sledding

Saturday afternoon we took Bishop sledding for the first time! He loved it! We went to a hill not far from our house on Lake Harriet, so we walked. It was tough getting him there, as he wanted to walk and it was cold and frustrating because he would stop and play in the "wa wa" (water) everytime we saw a puddle (crazy to see puddles in January), but we finally got him in the stroller and walked over to the hill.

Luke is so great at distracting him, no matter what the circumstances. Bishop was still angry, but Luke kept asking him questions to get his mind off riding in the stroller! Whew!

After sledding--Bishop was content to ride in the sled all the way home, which worked out great! Luke pulled him on Lake Harriet and he had a blast!

Too bad the snow is gone and we can't go sledding this weekend! Oh well, that's what you get for temps in the 30s and 40s all week!

Getting up the hill isn't quite as fun as going down.....especially when you can't hold on because you can't find your thumbs!

But, it was all smiles on the way down....and definitely worth it!!
