Happy 2nd Birthday Bishop!!!!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Bishop!

I am so sad--I had this very long post written up and I saved it....and now it's gone. So, I'll try to start again.

2 years ago my life was changed for the better! Bishop has brought me more happiness, joy and laughter than I could ever imagine. I know all parents say this, but it's really true. Bishop is an energetic, happy 2 year old boy and I am so proud of him! I love the fact that he enjoys everything he does--he enjoys every new experience and that makes it so fun to be his parent!

Bishop has been looking forward to his birthday for awhile now...and when I tell him he'll get presents, he thinks Santa will bring him presents.

He had his appointment today and he weighs 31 lbs (83%) and is 35 1/4" (74%). We also found out Bishop has an ear infection--not a fun way to spend his second birthday, but it hasn't seemed to bother him too much (but it explains why he was waking up in the middle of the night earlier this week).

Luke was sick today, so I took Bishop to his appointment by myself--I asked him where he wanted to go for lunch and he said "Santa"....we went to McDonald's instead! :)

Some of his current sayings/words are:
"I'll be back"--the other night he was up in the middle of the night and he asked for some milk.....he knew I would say "I'll be right back"..so he kept saying it.

Tinkle Tar (when he wants us to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star)

ABCDs (when he wants us to sing the abc's--he's learning more letters everyday, but he still calls them the ABCDs--because that's how far he knew the alphabet)

I don't want to: not one of my favorites--but his vocabulary is growing and I'm glad he can communicate with us

I know there are lots more and I'll try to update them as I think of them.

It's been a whirlwind of a day..I had my appointment this morning and found out I'll be induced on Sunday. Luke is VERY sick (can't get out of bed) and Bishop has an ear infection. I just need to make sure Luke is feeling better by Sunday...I'll need him! :)

Bishop's last day as a one year old!
Elmo cupcakes for school

Bishop's elmo shirt (I couldn't get a good picture of him in it)!
Bishop celebrated his birthday by wearing his new Elmo shirt to school and bringing elmo cupcakes to celebrate! He got a kitchen for his birthday and so far he LOVES it! We have his party with family tomorrow! Should be a fun weekend!!

Bishop's TWO!!!

Bishop and his new kitchen!

Unfortunately, Luke and I weren't able to make it to Bishop's birthday party--but he had a blast and enjoyed all his new presents, blowing out the candles on his cake and enjoying all the attention! We love you so much, Bishop! I'll try to get some pictures posted of his party (as I don't have any on my camera, since we weren't here).
