Bishop and Nora's Birthday Party!

We celebrated Bishop's 4th birthday and Nora's 2nd birthday on Saturday! It was quite the day for the Froehle's!

We started out with swimming lessons in the morning and then a quick haircut for Bishop. We picked up their cakes at Target and drove over to Eagan to watch Uncle Jake coach his basketball team. He coaches an autistic team and it gave me even more appreciation and respect for what he does! His patience level is unbelievable (now, could we get some of that in our family)!? :) After that we went out for lunch with Grandpa and Grandma at Potbelly's--picked up some balloons and then came home.  My parents stopped over before the party and the kids opened up their presents from their grandparents before the party.

Poor Nora was absolutely miserable all afternoon. She did take a short nap in the car, but she cried and screamed all afternoon and she kept pulling on her right ear. She has tubes and she was just in to the ENT on Wed and her right tube and ear looked good. I finally made the decision that she had to be taken in because she was so miserable, so Luke and his mom took her to urgent care. That Dr. thought her right tube was through her ear drum and both ears were infected. I have since taken her in to the ENT and he thinks it was swimmer's ear and fitted her for some ear plugs to use.

Finally-on to the party!!  This was the kids' first "friend" party and we held it at the YMCA. They had an absolute blast! We ate pizza, cake and opened presents from the great grandparents and then the kids got to play in the Play Castle-it was perfect!

We waited until we got home to open presents--that was a really good idea too! It was crazy enough opening presents at home!

It was quite the day and party! The kids had an absolute blast and Bishop's face was bright red the whole time from running around and playing with his friends. They have some pretty neat friends and are really thankful for all the fun presents they received and the great friendships they have! Thanks, All!
