On Monday we hit the trails again and hiked to Lake Haiyaha. It was a cooler, cloudier morning and we did get wet on our hike. Bishop was a bit hungry and not that excited to hike--but we made it! We had never been to Lake Haiyaha so it was fun seeing a new part of RMNP! It was extremely foggy and we could hardly see the lake when we got there. We had a quick lunch on the rocks and headed back down.

After our hike we went to the Ranger Station for an art event for the kids. They learned about the different types of birds in the park and made their own paper airplanes. They got to fly them around and then they each gave their oath and received their Junior Ranger Badges. Bishop was PRETTY excited to get his badge/pin! It was a fun activity to do.....as it was pouring rain outside!
