I had a very enjoyable (and memorable) birthday! I received a basket full of fresh vegetables from a farm in Maryland from my company, which was a fun treat to receive in the mail (I won a drawing and they shipped the veggies to me)! :)
I spent my afternoon visiting my parents at Abbott--turns out my dad needed to be cardio-verted back into rhythm after being out of rhythm for a few days. I was able to be there before and after the (very quick) procedure, so that was nice.
My birthday fell on a Tuesday and Nora had gymnastics, so we went to gymnastics and had the Kahlert's over for pizza afterwards. It was also National Night Out, so we crashed a couple block parties (ours is in Sept)! It was a great end to a fun birthday!
