Yesterday was a GREAT day!! Bishop had one of his best days yet....he was a great listener, shared with his friend, Anna Rose, who came to visit and did great with the potty AND poopy training!! We've been struggling to get him to go poopy on the potty, but he turned a corner yesterday and did great!!
He took a great nap and was in a great mood all day long!! Luke went on an early bike ride, so was gone in the morning until 9. Dan stopped by afterwards, and Bishop loves Dan, so that was fun. Lisa and Anna Rose stopped by to meet Nora and have lunch with us. After Bishop's nap, Shelly and Madelyn stopped by and Bishop and Madelyn LOVE to play together, so that was great!!
We went for a walk in the afternoon--and Bishop walked the majority of the way. He wore underwear and part way through the walk he was grabbing his crotch--so Luke took him into a store and he went potty on a public toilet (whew)!!! I am so proud with his progress, he's doing great and I'm so happy he can tell us, even when we're out and about and he's distracted!
Last night Jesse, Nina and Jack came and brought a delicious dinner. Bishop pooped like 4-5 times on the potty, but had one accident right before bed.
So far this morning hasn't been quite as "great" of a day....Bishop didn't sleep that great and I think his cold is bothering him. He's whiny and crabby, so hopefully that turns around soon! Not everyday can be as great as yesterday....and we'll continue to have a good days (and not so good days) with the potty training..but overall, I'm very proud of his progress over the past week!
