January brought some cold days with it and while the month wasn't as busy for us, we enjoyed doing some new things to stay warm!
Luke and I saw The Sound of Music at the Ordway in St. Paul and stayed downtown in a hotel as part of Luke's Christmas gift. It was a fun time and the show was great! The kids got to spend a night in Owatonna with Nana and Papa, which is always a hit too! They did some favorites (the library, feeding the ducks, eating donuts)! :) Everyone was happy!

Bishop is in full "birthday party" mode lately.....and that meant a special icecream date for Nora!

We met some new friends through church and swimming lessons and they introduced us to InnerCity Tennis. It's a free league on Saturday afternoons in Minneapolis. The kids show up and move through different stations. It was a great way to burn off some energy on a COLD Saturday!

Although it was super cold we couldn't sit inside anymore......so we ventured out to try ice skating at the park! We didn't last long, but it felt good to get some fresh air!
