Basketball, The Rennet, Jack's 3rd Birthday Party and sledding/snowboarding!

This past weekend was a fun one! Bishop started basketball and they play on Friday nights. He's on the same team as his 2 buddies, Cal and Charlie. Their games aren't until 7:15, which can get to be a little late on a Friday night, but it's so worth it and they have such a fun time together!! Thankfully for Nora there are other siblings there too! She gets to hang out with the older sisters (she's in heaven) and there's a younger brother there who is exactly her age, so it's all good! The biggest snafu we had was we forgot Nora's tennis shoes. The games are played at the Upper Campus, so we can walk over--and Nora insisted on wearing shorts like her big brother......it's a good thing it didn't bother her to wear shorts, a long sleeved shirt and her purple snow boots! ;) The boys had an absolute blast! There was a lot of jumping up and down, hugging and jumping up and down WHILE hugging after made shots! It's truly priceless! I felt right at home as we were the last ones in the gym......and the kids were running around (with their shirts off) playing Ships across the Ocean and having a ball! We are so fortunate for BIshop's friends and their families as they are such great people and we enjoy hanging out with them!

Bishop and his buds!

Nora does exactly what the boys do.....this could be trouble!

They were too hot to wear shirts!
Saturday morning brought a ski race for Luke (The Rennett). It was held at Hyland Park and we've both been skiing there quite a bit training for the Birkie and Korte. Unfortunately for us we haven't had as much snow as we'd like and they had to change the course a little for the race. He ended up skiing 4 loops for a total of 20K. It was fun for us to be able to see him a few times and the kids had a blast (until they got cold--then things weren't so fun for a little while). We had to take a shuttle to the starting line and the kids got a big kick out of that! The bus ride may have been the highlight!

Cheering on Daddy!
Looking good!

They were SO proud of him! Nora still thinks he won the race! :)

After we congratulated Daddy on his great race the kids and I took off for Maple Grove for Jack's 3rd birthday party! I can't believe "Baby Jack" is 3!!!! He is the sweetest, most fun kid and I love him so much! He's so independent and he just loves to do whatever he wants.....without worrying about what anyone else is doing!
Jack and Uncle Luke!

My sweet nephew!

These 4 have so much fun together!

Nana and Papa with their grandsons!

Bishop and Luke left the party to see the new Star Wars movie so that meant more girl time for Nora and Madelyn! Nora absolutely adores Madelyn and it was fun she could have some extra time with her!
Sunday brought more fun outside as one of Bishop's friends invited us to go sledding at their park! Nora gained a ton of courage and was going down the hills by herself for the first time.....and both kids were snowboarding with Henry's snowboard too. We were out there for 2 hours, it was great! We stopped at The Red Cow for a bite to eat afterwards.....stopped home, grabbed our skis and headed out to finish our fun weekend with skiing in the dark at Hyland park! It was such a fun weekend filled with friends and family!

Nora sledding all by herself!

These 2 are such good buds and I'm so happy to see them continue to be close since they go to different schools!

Ice cream at The Red Cow is that good!
