We celebrated Mother's Day last Saturday, since Luke will be fishing this weekend! It was a wonderful day and I loved every minute of it! It was an untraditional day for us, but perfect in every way! We started the day with donuts and a Latte (my favorites)! :) We went to the mall (very unlike us) to get Bishop a new pair of shoes and while we were there Bishop and Luke went on a train ride! Nora and I watched as they rode the train around the mall.....and as we were waving to Bishop and calling his name I heard a father next to me say hi to his daughter, Nora. We had a conversation that went something like this:
Me: Is your daughter's name Nora?
Him: Yes
Me: Oh, that's her name (pointing at Nora).
Him: Oh, neat--is your son's name, Bishop?
Me: Yes!
Him: That's my last name.
Me: Cool-that was my maiden name
Both of us: oh small world, blah blah blah
It took me awhile to figure it out.....but Bishop was riding the train with his new friend, Nora Bishop! Yes, her name is Nora Bishop!! Crazy!

After that we went to lunch at PFChang's and went home. Bishop took a nap, while Nora, Luke and I watched a movie...perfect thing to do on a rainy day! I can't remember the last time I watched a movie during the day--and it was a good one We Bought A Zoo! That night we stayed in and made a frozen pizza--as funny as these events sound (at least to me, since it's not our typical weekend), it was perfect! The kids (with a lot of help from Luke) got me a beautiful ring...I absolutely LOVE it and I told Luke he can go fishing on Mother's day every year from now on!!!! :)
Here are some pictures of me with two of my loves! I am so bummed, as they're all blurry--but I have to post them anyway!
