We had a wonderful weekend!!
We had plans to go to Eastern WI to do some kayaking and rafting, but being that Luke had strep throat, we ended up staying home. Thankfully, Luke started feeling better on Friday, so we were able to enjoy the weekend and get some things done!
Saturday we ran some errands and Bishop enjoyed every stop we made--he loves to explore and take in all the action, no matter where we are! We started at Peter's Billards and bought new barstools--thankfully it wasn't too busy in the store, so Bishop could check some stuff out! Next we went to REI, along with the rest of the world...it was SO busy, but we got some good deals and we bought a new family tent, now we just need to use it! Bishop was having so much fun running into the tent....that he didn't step up to get in the tent and he fell on his face...his teeth cut his lip and he was bleeding....thankfully, it was short lived and he was right back at it! The woman who was helping us was so nice and she wanted to know if we wanted to write up an accident report--I knew Bishop would bounce back quickly, so I didn't think it was necessary, but I appreciated the offer!
Sunday we went to the Children's Museum and Bishop had an absolute blast! His favorite things to do were to dance on stage with the music, go down the slides and play with the water!! It was our first time at the Children's museum and it was great! A perfect place to spend a rainy day!
For some reason, I can't post pictures right now--I'll try back again later.
Bishop has really started talking a lot more lately--he will repeat most things you say, especially if you ask him to. The phrase he said nonstop this past weekend was "No, Don't!" I think he may be hearing that a lot lately (the kid is very busy and he loves to explore EVERYWHERE)....however, I learned at school this morning that they teach the kids to tell other kids "No, I don't like that" when someone does something they don't like (instead of pushing back, etc)....so I'm hoping that's what he's repeating!! We've been saying a lot of "yes, please" lately, just in case! :)
