Emily and Raymond had their groom's dinner on Friday at Travas and Sarah's house.....and they were so kind to include Bishop and Nora! The kids were SO excited to see them both, it was very special!

They got married on a boat on Lake Minnetonka on a beautiful Saturday in October! It was perfect!! We are SO happy for the happy couple! So much love for these 2!!!

Leesburg, VA--work trip

It's been a busy couple of weeks at the Froehle household! Luke went on his fishing trip with the guys up North....they left on Thursday and he got back Monday, just in time to pick up the kids and go to swimming lessons. I left early Tuesday morning for a work trip (Leesburg, VA)--got home Friday at 5pm and we got in the car and headed over to a Groom's dinner for Emily and Raymond!

Chess Club, Soccer, Trucksploration, Nickelodeon Universe and Apple Jack's!

Luke left on his fishing trip on Thursday and the kids and I had a jam packed weekend of fun! We started the weekend with parent-pick up for Bishop and Chess Club! He was asking about joining Chess Club so we had him check it out and he loved it! It's from 4:10-5pm every Friday that there's school and it's a time for the kids to play chess! His first game was against a 3rd grader....and he won! He then got to play a friend from his class, but they didn't have time to finish their game! He wants to go again so we will register him!

Friday evening brought another night of soccer! It gets dark earlier so it was fun to play with the lights on! There is one more make-up game next week, but we won't be able to make it, so this was Bishop's last game. He loved it and it was a fun event for Friday nights!

The tradition of taking their shirts off after their games continues!
Saturday morning brought gymnastics for Nora and a visit to Trucksploration at the Upper Campus! Community Ed brought in a bunch of trucks for kids to check out, which was a lot of fun! There was a firetruck, construction truck, police car, BOMB squad and a medic helicopter landed while we were there (and we had to run away from it--it kicked up so much sand)!

From Trucksploration we hurried over to the MOA to Nickelodeon Universe for a birthday party for Bishop's friend, Asa. They were generous enough to include Nora as well-so she jumped right in and loved going on rides with the boys!! The first roller coaster Bishop went on was the Rock Bottom Plunge--a very intense roller coaster....and he loved it! They went on the Pineapple Popper (bouncy house), Bumper cars, Guppy Bubbler, Log Shute (2 times), Ghost Blasters (their favorite), and Nora ended the day on the Fairly Odd Coaster! It was the first time where the kids were more interested in the "big rides" than the "kiddie rides"!

Nora did NOT like the guy in blue!
Sunday morning brought church and a trip to Apple Jack's Orchards with the Bormann's! It has become a little tradition that we go to Apple Jack's together and this year was fun as we tried a few new activities!
The boys stick together! :)

This was a tough picture to get! Silly kids!!

Oh my goodness they've grown!!!

The girls!

The bouncy pillow!

"Sisters" always happy together!!
Bishop waited patiently in line to do the apple launcher and he loved it! He got 3 tries and got pretty close! It was fun to try something new!

Apple Jack's added a zip line this year and the kids loved it! The Retzer's were also at Apple Jack's and Bishop had fun going through the corn maze with Jack and Jesse! The weather was unbelievable! It was warm and sunny......and while it was busy we were still able to do what we wanted and have fun!!

Auntie Shelly is always SO good to Bishop and Nora! We love you Auntie!!

We missed Luke a lot this weekend--but thankfully we were busy enough that the weekend went by fast! The kids were on their best behavior and I had so much fun hanging out with them!!

Cold Soccer, The Zoo with Nora and another dentist appointment for Nora

We're cruising through fall and enjoying every minute of it!

Apparently Bishop cruised through his math Magic Circle worksheets (math problems) and came away with a certificate! I'm so excited he has found something he loves and excels in!

Friday night brought a cold day/night. We bundled up for soccer and prepared to be outside for the homecoming football game, which was being played right next to the soccer fields! We dressed appropriately because there wasn't any complaining and we had a great time at the game (despite the awful performance of the fb team)!

Soccer buds!

Nora had gymnastics Saturday morning and Aisling's birthday party in the afternoon! It was a ton of fun and the birthday party was at Kiddy Wampus--and they got to create their own art projects!

Sunday while I went for a quick run, Nora and Luke made a 7 layer bean dip to bring over to the Retzer's for the Vikings game!
Nora didn't have school on Monday (there are 2 days a year her school has staff development days)--so we had a Mommy/daughter day and it was so fun!!

We went to the zoo and went wherever she wanted! :) One of the bears was pretty active, so it was fun to watch him!

She loved playing at the park--and going down the long slides!

We played a little hide and seek! :)
And we went to the farm and attempted to feed the goats!

My little chick! :)

She's doing great at swimming lessons and she loves it!
We had a little more quality time together on Wednesday afternoon as Nora had a couple cavities that needed to be filled! She handled it like a champ and didn't shed one tear! I was very proud of her!
